Om Nom: Run 2Function introduction
Which on it had conceited characters,

The alarm has sounded. Nuclear war is imminent. And you’ve got just 60 seconds to swipe as many supplies as you can before retreating to the bunker beneath your house. Then comes the real test – how long can you keep your family alive? You’ll have to go on a supply run in the irradiated wasteland at some point. Then there are the mutant cockroaches...

The scenario in 60 Seconds! would be pretty terrifying in reality, but in true Fallout fashion, developer Robot Gentleman has put a humorous spin on things. Having been released on iOS, PC and Nintendo Switch previously, the game received an Android release late last year. It’s clearly proved popular, achieving more than a million sales. Now there’s a new DLC to keep play fresh, and protagonist Ted looking fresh.

Rocket Science Challenges pits players against a new gameplay mode, one which tests your skills at scavenging for survival. New challenges are introduced regularly, and succeeding will win you what every aspirational family in an American suburb wants. A range of fashionable hats. That’s right – hats. Ted and his kin may still meet a grizzly end, but by god they’ll do it in style! The first three challenges on the mobile version are Honeymoon Challenge, Babysitter Challenge and Die for Valhalla! Challenge.

To test your survival skills, download 60 Seconds! for Android and iOS in all major languages, from the App Store or Google Play. Nintendo fans can also find the game to download for Switch from the Nintendo eShop.

After introducing the post-apocalyptic title The Sun last week it appears there may be more titles in the survival genre on their way as we stumbled across Survival: Scavenger.

From the developer that brought you Survival: Wicked Forest, Survival: Scavenger is an open-world, single/multiplayer crafting survival game. So far as we know there's no other objective other than survive and thrive in a desolate world.

The theme is 'if you can see it, you can destroy it', as the developer boasts how everything is destructible: grass; houses; stones; donkeys, you name it. With a full list of implemented features available on their forum page, Survival: Scavenger is shaping up to be a pretty impressive piece of kit.

Though it hasn't been specified, an iOS release is most likely judging by their previous title. We'll keep you updated once new information is available.

Telltale Games has announced that it will release a spin-off Walking Dead miniseries, featuring Michonne - the uber tough, katana-wielding bad ass from the comics and TV show.

It's part of a plan to bring the worlds of the comic and the game closer together. "There is no greater character than Michonne to help bridge that gap," said series creator Robert Kirkman during a E3 live stream.

The game won't retell events of the comic. Instead, it will let you see what happened to Michonne between issues 126 and 139, when she wasn't around.

To get access to The Walking Dead: Michonne, you'll need to own at least the first episode of The Walking Dead: Season Two. The three-part series will come to iOS, and Android this autumn.

This was Captain Jim's best story. It was a compound of horror and humor, and though Anne had heard it several times she laughed as heartily and shivered as fearsomely over it as Mr. Ford did. Other tales followed, for Captain Jim had an audience after his own heart. He told how his vessel had been run down by a steamer; how he had been boarded by Malay pirates; how his ship had caught fire; how he helped a political prisoner escape from a South African republic; how he had been wrecked one fall on the Magdalens and stranded there for the winter; how a tiger had broken loose on board ship; how his crew had mutinied and marooned him on a barren island--these and many other tales, tragic or humorous or grotesque, did Captain Jim relate. The mystery of the sea, the fascination of far lands, the lure of adventure, the laughter of the world--his hearers felt and realised them all. Owen Ford listened, with his head on his hand, and the First Mate purring on his knee, his brilliant eyes fastened on Captain Jim's rugged, eloquent face.

The Astronomer"What a pity she hadn't met and married a fellow like Ford long ago," ruminated Gilbert. "They'd have made an ideal couple, wouldn't they?"
