1、A TRAVELER hired an Ass to convey him to a distant place. The day being intensely hot, and the sun shining in its strength, the Traveler stopped to rest, and sought shelter from the heat under the Shadow of the Ass. As this afforded only protection for one, and as the Traveler and the owner of the Ass both claimed it, a violent dispute arose between them as to which of them had the right to the Shadow. The owner maintained that he had let the Ass only, and not his Shadow. The Traveler asserted that he had, with the hire of the Ass, hired his Shadow also. The quarrel proceeded from words to blows, and while the men fought, the Ass galloped off.
2、
If you were among the millions of players who downloaded the first Soul Seeker game, you might still be busy kitting out your heroes in weird and wonderful outfits as they engage in boss raids across its besieged lands. You might also be hankering for the next instalment. Well hanker no more, because on November 1st, developer Clegames is launching Soul Seeker - The 6th Knights worldwide. It promises more of the same heroic action, with a bit more strategy, plus some added fire (and water) power.

Taking place in the war-torn continent of Hermes, you play as part of the Albion Knights, and it's your job to put a stop to the five other orders of knights' squabbling. These rival knights are the titular soul seekers, searching for Soul Stones which grant god-like powers for whoever wields them. You must hunt for the Soul Stones yourself and destroy them, so that they never have the chance to use such power against the people of Hermes. That's the premise, but in all likelihood you'll pay just as much attention to the other gameplay modes outside of the main story, including PvP arenas and PvE dungeon raids.

The controls are expected to be an improvement over the previous Soul Seeker game, and there are some new functions to play around with. Once you've filled up your tag gauge, you can now tag in your support heroes to join the fight with the benefit of temporary invincibility. There's also a Bound System, which allows you to bind two or three heroes together for combined power. You've also got elemental powers at your disposal: Fire, Water, Air, Darkness and Light. Each type corresponds with an enemy's weakness, so you can be strategic in which heroes you deploy.
latinamericasport.com
3、
Automaton is a puzzle game that's designed to teach people the basics of programming. It was designed by Jeremy Friesen who is currently studying Computer Science and worked on the game in his spare time. It's available now on Google Play.

Players will be in charge of getting a little robot called Auto to complete various tasks. This will be done by entering various lines of code - that is given to you - that can make him move forward, turn, or pick up and put down objects. The levels will naturally become more and more complex as you progress.

They start very simple with just moving and turning the robot to get it to a set destination. But before long you'll be required to use loops to complete tasks with a strict limit on how many lines of code you can use. The later levels will also see players having to control two Autos to add an extra layer of complexity to proceedings.

However, if you're deep into coding this game will likely be far too simple for you. It's not on a Zachtronics level of difficulty that's for sure, so don't be expecting the next Shenzen I/O. This is a game that's designed for people who have next to no experience in coding rather than experts.

Though the game is currently available Jeremy insists that he's still working on updating the game with more levels and ironing out any bugs. So it's not quite the finished article yet but there's still plenty of coding brainteasers to be getting on with in the meantime.

I'm always pleased to see games that attempt to educate people through gaming. It makes a nice alternative to the 'learn through doing' concept. If you've ever wanted to understand basic coding or just like puzzle games then Automaton is available now on Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with one in-app purchase that removes ads.
Check out our news section to discover the latest, and greatest, games.'But ah, who ever shunned by precedent
